What I do

I practice depth psychology, intended to help you understand the patterns in your life. Depth work focuses on the strengths of the individual, rather than pathologizing. To do this, I provide space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Sessions with me are informal to allow you to speak about whatever is on your mind; you set the pace of our work, and control the content of our sessions. 

 Psychotherapy is the process of working with language to work through life’s difficulties. It is finding our edges and learning how to soften and stretch. As we work, we may encounter subjects that are difficult or uncomfortable to speak about. My work is to help you to say everything, even when it is difficult. Your work is to say everything.
