Welcome

Life is constantly changing. The future is unsure. The world has pulled closer. We are more connected as a species than we have ever been. Global tragedy has reminded us of how interconnected we all are. There is so much more to care about. More to celebrate, and more to mourn.

And yet, it feels as though it is very much the same as it ever was. People are people. Relationships with family and friends continue to develop. There are endings and beginnings, and life perseveres, bringing joys and pains. Sometimes it feels as though there is little we can do to guide where our paths are heading.

My work focuses on the subtle, unconscious aspects of the human experience to help you understand the patterns of your life through the noise of daily living. Telling me about your life will help you put it in order. History is never entirely absent from the present, and often shows up in unexpected ways. Where we are is because of where we have been. And where we are makes demands on our attention. Reflection on yourself and your life will increase your flexibility to meet life’s challenges.

Knowing thyself is no easy task. Regaining connection to the parts of ourselves we thought we had lost is painful. Growing is always painful, no matter how it is achieved. And awkward. It can feel easier to face challenges alone, rather than being vulnerable with another person. I have found that despite the discomfort vulnerability can bring, finding a trusted professional to explore areas of sensitivity is singularly grounding experience.
